She wasn't offended that the man sat, but surprised perhaps. Her brothers- and sisters-in-arms did not often pick her to engage in social niceties. Not that she was ever rude, but the staunch silence of her presence did not often do much to garner affection from her peers. But he was foreign, new perhaps to Moscovite soil; there had been many such arrivals in recent days, heralding the changes to come. If Yoshimura sought friendship, he appealed to the wrong sister, but she would not be impolite. A few words were not going to kill her.

"It's a Native American name,"
she said. A simple and honest answer. She did not offer to tell him the meaning, though she of course knew it, perhaps because it held some sentimentality she did not want to share with a stranger. After a moment more of silence, she added. "Relocation to Moscow is a recent thing."

Yoshimura nodded. He knew some about the Native Americans, but not much. He knew they had many tribes. Her answers were short and he figured she was not the most social of people. It wasn't a bad or offensive thing. That's just the way some people were.

Ichiro nodded at her explanation. Hai, yes. I'm new in Moscow as well. It's very different from Osaka.

Ichiro had other business to attend to and he should make sure to take care of it. He could do more reading later. If he had to, he could do some stuff of the internet at home - although he really didn't like the technology.

Tehya-san, forgive me, but I must take my leave of you. As I've only just arrived, I have much to do. It was a pleasure meeting you. I hope our paths cross again.
He stood and offered her another bow.
