It wasn’t about that. At least this time it wasn’t. She had wanted to say something, but she was scared to and didn’t know what to say. She had actually wanted some help, but didn't know how to ask. She could put that off though for Kenzie. Kenzie really did need her now.
”Okay,” she said and stood up, heading upstairs.
She found the trio of Liv, Hayden, and Kenzie. Hayden was trying to keep her from running. ”Kenzie,” she said, her voice soft as she knelt down on her level. ”Its okay, Kenzie. He doesn’t want to hurt you. Just breathe, Kenzie. Find your center - like we do in martial arts. You’re safe. You don’t need what was in the safe, hon. Give it back. It will be okay.”

Liam stayed. they kissed. The dropped their bags and form themselves on the couch. Liam's hands were under her shirt. Her heart was racing, her body tingling. But Liam was tenative, this wasn't her first make out session it wasn't sex. She pulled his hand to places she wanted him to touch.
The door burst open and Juls shouted "What are you doing?"
Liam shot up and was leaping away from her before she could growl at the interruption. "You aren't my mom."
Liam frowned. "Sterling, she's an adult. And we follow the rules."
She sighed. "What rule, we can't fool around? I don't remember that rule." she said straightening out her shirt. "I thought you were cooler than that." She grabbed her things and pushed past them both and walked as fast as she could down stairs. Stupid Nox's Rules -- even though it wasn't one.

Fuck! This is why he hated kids. He growled but he tried to grab her before she ran into the wall. He didn't even get his mouth open before she was bouncing backwards bleeding. Ouch.
Liv was there before he was and she was healing a struggling child who was sobbing and kicking and screaming. She looked up at Hayden. "She'll be okay. At least her nose will be."
Hayden nodded. "Yeah. She needs more help than I can give her. I know someone. I'll give her a call." Hayden grabbed her backpack and took the gun, knife, drive, booze and drugs. He pushed the bags of drugs into Tatyana's hand. "Now you don't need to be sober." He said then dropped the bag on the ground next to Kenzie.
Hayden headed downstairs and poured himself a glass from the bottle he'd just commendered and took a long swig before he set the bottle down he'd replace it and the drugs if Nox needed them. He went back to Nox's room and put the remainder of the safe contents ito the safe and closed it then collapsed on Nox's bed and dialed a number.
"Hey, Anita. Just calling to check on you in this shit storm. Call me when you get a chance, I'm hoping you can help me get in touch with CPS."

Hayden was angry, and probably rightfully so. Liv was still there. She saw her magic. Tatyana went to Kenzie and held her in her arms. It wasn't often she did that, but she held her like she wished someone had held her when everything in her life went to shit. She still held the drugs in her hands. Of course now she had them - now that she didn't want them. All of this happened because of her drug habit. Kenzie wouldn't have found the weapons had she not asked to get in the safe - not that she had intended for Kenzie to do it.
Ashton said they wouldn't judge her. That didn't mean they liked her. They probably didn't. They probably shouldn't. They had no reason to like her. She didn't deserve their friendship. She didn't even deserve her help. She was going to ask. She had to ask. Because she couldn't do this alone. She didn't want to do it. She didn't want to feel the pain of loss. But Kenzie was feeling it. Tatyana had an idea of why Kenzie had wanted the weapons now. Kenzie deserved better than Tatyana had. Kenzie deserved a real second chance.
Tatyana stroked her hair. "I know it hurts. I'm here for you." she said, not sure what to say. She was crying. Crying for her friend. It was the first time in a long time she had cared about somebody more than herself.
I'm sorry Kenzie, she thought. "I've failed you. It would have been better for me to have not become your friend. You deserve better.
But she had become her friend. And that made her feel responsible. She wanted Kenzie to be happy. Because she deserved to be. Liv was there, and Tatyana looked at her, tears in her eyes. For awhile she didn't say anything. There wasn't hate in Tatyana's gaze. Just uncertainty. "I don't know how to help her." her voice was slightly panicked, but still she picked Kenzie up and stood. "I know you guys don't owe me anything, but we're stuck together - I don't know for how long. I really didn't want to cause anything, but..." she squeezed the girl in her arms gently and dropped the bag of pills on the ground. "I don't want them anymore, but I don't know how to stop." She wasn't sure if she should stay or not. She moved to exit the room, but then hesitated, unsure of how to handle it.
