At The Edge of Fear
#1
Rachel went home after having lunch with Emily. There she dove once more into her research. An outline was beginning to form for her thesis and she was making great strides.  Doing the research helped even though the tremor in her hands remained. Lucio hadn’t responded right away and that made Rachel nervous, but she tried to remember that Lucio had a life outside of her too. He wasn’t always at her beck and call.

About an hour later, she finally got a response from him. She smiled, knowing she would see him soon. She a little more to finish though before she stopped working today. I have about a half hour more of work to do, the. I can head over there :-)

Rachel knew he wouldn’t mind the wait. He actively encouraged her studies. Rachel hadn’t taken to wearing skirts and dresses more often lately, and so was already dressed nicer. After making sure all her work was saved, she headed to meet Lucio at his hotel, letting him know she was on her way.

Lucio Pirozzi

Lucio met Rachel down stairs. He didn't plan to stay in, though he knew she would have liked to he had her wrapped around his little finger. But he had other plans. "There is a movie marathon I want to take you to. You've been working so hard it's time for a break."

Before they left Lucio gave her a kiss and poured want and desire into his little gift. She was easy to manipulate and easy to pull along, and the sex was even amazing. It wasn't always the case. Tonight would be fun, there was a knot of fear in the girl he was wooing -- tonight they'd play with it. Innocently of course, but still it was such a powerful emotion.

The marathon had been running all day, and it had several more movies in the queue, but he only really needed one. It was a bunch of classics -- Alfred Hitchcock. Lucio had seen them all, and it didn't matter which one it was. "I hope you like scary movies. They are my favorite." As he took her hand he pressed in a curiosity for the movies, so she wouldn't back out. He wanted to toy with that fear that was building inside her, the one that told her to run from him. But he wanted to change it into something else -- a desire to run towards him, for that touch of fear. She'd be his no matter what.

Lucio met her downstairs instead of at his room. She was only a little disappointed that they weren’t going to his room, but ultimately, she was just glad to be with Lucio. It seemed as if she had earned some treat for working so hard - a movie marathon sounded fun. She liked movies.

Rachel’s hands shook until Lucio kissed her, but she wasn’t aware that was the catalyst for the end of the trembling. All she knew is she immediately felt better and that was what she had wanted. Rachel went with him. He mentioned that they were going to watch scary movies. ”Hmmm - I haven’t watched many scary movies. I’ve seen a couple though. They can be fun.”

He held her hand and she found herself curious about it though. He was game. ”Alfred Hitchcock,” she said looking at the board for the theater. ”Isn’t a classic horror master or something? Looks like we got three playing soon: Pyscho, The Birds, or Frenzy. Hmmm - you’re the expert - what do you think? I’ve heard of the first two but haven’t ever seen them.” she thought about it - trying to remember. ”I heard Pyscho was a game changer - maybe that one? she was really out of her element here, but she knew Lucio would choose a good one.

Lucio smiled at her eagerness. He was sure she'd enjoy any of them, but it was a Marathon and depending on how it went they might watch them all who knew. But Psycho was first.

The place wasn't packed but it was also the middle of the day and not exactly the most sought out movie of the month. But that was good. He choose a place in the middle where no one would bother them. No one was around for several rows. They were essentially alone.

There was of course refreshments which costed way too much for what they got, but it was the whole movie going experience. Whatever Rachel wanted he got.

Lucio put his left arm around Rachel after they sat, he wanted to be able to touch her easily when it all started, it would be so much better for both of thelm.

Rachel ordered a soda and some popcorn. Lucio could get his own drink or share with her. She didn’t mind either way. They’re weren’t very many people here and Rachel liked that. Not just for the privacy but for she generally liked going to movies with less people. They sat in the middle, essentially by themselves. Rachel took off her coat and put in on the chair next to her. She planned on being comfortable.

Lucio’s arm around her was a welcome one. And she leaned into the side hug a little bit as the movie started. She was still curious. She didn’t watch a lot of scary movies. She wasn’t opposed to them but didn’t see why people wanted to be afraid. She had told Cruz that. This was a little different though as in the fear was manufactured. It wasn’t real.

The movie started and it was in black and white which showed its age. Rachel didn’t mind that. As the movie got scarier, Rachel leaned into Lucio more, resting her head on his shoulder. It wasn’t super scary - but it was enough to garner a slight reaction from her and the infamous shower scene made her jump a little. She squeezed in tight.
