I will - you know I expect you to dance with me when I get depressed now right hehehehe. Seriously - this week has shown me I have really good friends - even if my Brian is trying to tell me I don’t deserve them. I’m glad I can count you among them Sage. I’m a lot better now :-D
Elyse put her wallet down and did a sort of self inventory on her emotions. She felt…normal. Guilt wasn’t burning in her gut waiting to pounce. There were non thoughts of self harm lurking in the shadows. Just thinking about it made her smile, and that smile vanished the rest of her sadness. It was in no way over - she knew that. She’d have to deal with the emotions again, but for now, she was just glad to feel normal.
She thought about it, and in reality, she did want Hayden to come over. Not because she needed it - but just because she wanted to be with him when she felt like this. She wanted to be able to truly be herself. She also didn’t want to abuse their friendship, but thought it couldn’t hurt to ask.
First she sent Anna a message. Hey - how would you feel if I invited a friend over - for - activities?
It didn’t take long for Anna to answer - she was either on break or in between sets. Girl! Get some!
Elyse smirked and sent Hayden a message. Hey - I’m actually feeling pretty normal right now. It’s kind of nice. I would like it if you’d come over (still at Anna’s). You’ve done so much for me recently - especially today, so don’t worry if you can’t. I don’t need this - it’s just a want. It’s just an offer if you’re up for it (I’m really not trying to abuse your friendship - I hope you understand that)
