It would not have been far off the mark to say that Hood worked with the Atharim for the fun of it. He enjoyed the unique challenge put forward by going up against the things that went bump in the night; creatures that had hunted humanity from the shadows since before the beginning of recorded history. Or well, what was considered recorded history to the modern mind anyway.

Many of the Atharim with whom he had worked in the past had quickly come to understand that his motivation was so very different then theirs. They had also learned that despite his lack of religious ferver was made up for by his usefulness to their organization. That in mind, he had little doubt that his name wasn't on that list of those selected for the 'honor' of realizing the Regus' goals.

The Order of Archangels. What a down right arrogant name, that. Archangels. He'd read somewhere that angels, originally, weren't the winged super-humans folks thought of when they heard the word, but rather had been weird bull-shit geometric shapes or floating eyeballs or some shit. A bit of a tangent, but either way; just didn't seem a very modest choice of title.

He gave the room one last glance around, and was stopped briefly to share words with a few others that he had worked with in the past; most were very excited about what had transpired, and said the usual shit; such an honor, a new era, stuff like that. To which he just grunted in vague agreement, and generally tried not to seem too excited.

He returned to the building proper in short order, and spent the next hour in the security office. He didn't expect any trouble, but there was always something to be learned when there was a mass-egress from a building. Things that may have been overlooked, gaps or oversights in the security. Notes were taken, concerns discussed with the Baccarat Mansion's security detail, and possible fixes put forward.

And then he took his leave. He would have to check up on his extra safe-houses around the city and outlying area. Cheap apartments mostly, in which he stored clothes of varying sizes (mens and womens), some basic medical supplies, money. He had a suspicion that as these 'Archangels' began their runs on these 'reborn gods' they were going to need places to lay low to avoid the police.
