He Will Do

Cruz was boring. There were so many men around that could feed their desires, so many who had the money and weren't children. It wouldn't be hard to manipulate one into taking them in. And even if they didn't want to Esper could handle it for them. It was almost as good as done.

They just had to find the right one.

Roza looked around. So many choices.

There was a man at the far end of the bar -- alone, though he looked like he was waiting for someone. While that was doable, it might cause more problems down the line.

A woman at the opposite end of the bar could do, but she seemed to be eyeing the bartender so probably not a good match, even though it would work either way, Esper had that way about her.

Roza didn't care about willing, she cared about what was good for her and Esper -- they were all that mattered now.  The Carnival be damned. Though the words did sting a little when she thought them. She tried not to miss home. She knew it was for the best. But now she had to find just the write mark.

While Roza was busy scoping the bar, Esper was contemplating the glamorous concoction of her drink and blocking out all the various emotions of those around them. Blonde hair brushed her bare shoulders, her eyes sultry and lips bitten red. The pair always garnered attention when they went out like this, and they never needed to pay their own way. They didn’t need Esper’s gifts for that.

Her mood had mellowed somewhat since the Ashton incident, the sting no longer quite so sharp even when she examined the memory over in her mind. Their focus on finding a new home for themselves helped – a control they could take over their own lives, to forge what future they chose. Moscow was a feast. But since she had vehemently opposed Roza’s choice of Voxel, Esper magnanimously let the other girl have free reign over their next game of choice. Truthfully Esper had no preferences with gender, and her attractions were nearly always siphoned through the filter of Roza. Voxel had been something of an anomaly insofar as their disagreement over him. Though Esper blamed the idea of a baby for that.

“A swimming pool would be nice, don’t you think?” she murmured as she pressed the cocktail to her lips. Her other hand rested on Roza's thigh, tracing a light pattern with her fingertips.

Roza giggled "A pool would be nice. Indoor would be even better."

It would be nice to have all the things they never could afford while with the Carnival. Much less at any point in her life. There were lots of options here in the lounge of the Radiant. She didn't want to live in a hotel, so they wanted someone local who was looking for a quick pick me up.

A man with dark hair and eyes was eying them. Esper's hand was on thigh. It was both alluring and comforting and he seemed to enjoy watching them. Roza leaned across and whipsered in Esper ear "I think we might have one." She kissed Esper full on the lips in the next moment. It was heated and filled with passion, something they hadn't shared since leaving the Carnival -- mostly out of lack of someplace comfortable. That would change tonight. No more shit holes, she promised herself that.

When they broke apart the man was holding two drinks. and smile. "You ladies look like you could use a drink."

The sly smile she gave in reaction to a successfully identified mark was swallowed by Roza’s kiss, which was far more consuming than the games they played with others. It filled her up like an empty vessel, the feelings and passions that poured through and filtered back like an eternal circle. Esper was still smiling slyly as they broke apart, and her eyes upturned to the man in question as he approached with drinks. He was old, thirties at least. Appearance mattered little to her, but it did to others, so she looked him up and down with a hungry sort of interest. It wasn’t the outside she was assessing though; inside there was plenty of malleable feeling to twist to their advantage. He would be easy to hook, and once he was, Esper would ensure he wouldn’t get away. Assuming he fit their criteria anyway.
