The demolition was well underway. Manix would find himself staring for hours at the high tech machines. They chewed thru the rundown structures like they was candy, crushed the contents and then separated the individual components out the back. 6 conveyor belts exited the machine: wood, cement, steel, trash, petroleum based items and unknowns, with most being recycled back into the new building. Two earth movers were on standby to dig the 2 story deep sub-basements and a connecting tunnel to the Manix's house. Manix had figured weeks to complete, it would only be days. Already the building was being pre-fabed and would be brought in to assemble.
SynJyn had messaged his requirement for land base training, the Contractor said that the addition would only add half a day to the allotted time as they were being pre-fabed as well. The walls surrounding the......compound sounded right to Manix, would be 30 meters tall with latest thermal scanning, heat registers and motion sensors interrogated into the outside structure. A security monitoring station would be in the new facility as well as a back up station in Manix undercity study.
The Living quarters for the Viking's, still called a ship would be 4 stories high + 2 storied below. Manix hadn't decided on the ships name yet, he might just leave it to SynJyn. Overall he was impressed with the level of technology and happy with the speed pf the construction, all was very efficient. With SynJyn due anytime, Manix was excited to see his old teacher.
