Elias radiated nothing threatening, just the kind of curiosity that came, she assumed, with acceptance. It was a good job she could sense the feeling simmering within though, because nothing much changed in that grim and stoic expression. He was sat opposite, and though there was nothing to elevate him, she felt she might as well be a petitioner at the base of some mighty throne. His coat pooled like inky robes. He waited for an answer.
Asha shrugged slightly, for a moment more interested in the fact neither man flinched away from her abilities. She'd always believed she would be shunned. "Like... animals? You mean?"
It certainly didn't sound like that's what he'd meant, but she was at a loss for other alternatives. Moments ago Nox had said a world existed beyond the normal, and apparently Asha was a part of that also, but she did not know for sure what else it encompassed. Though she was rapidly suspecting. There was a shine to her gaze, an uninhibited interest.
