Ilesha finished up what she was doing. The building wasn't too bad, but it could still use some maintenance she was sure.
Her aparment smelled like her grandma's house. And she made it just in time as the timer to the bread machine went off. Unlike her grandmother she didn't do it all by hand. She just didn't have the patience for bread making but it was something she liked to do. That and homemade tortillas were some of the best things she had in her life.
She pulled the bread out and took a big wiff of the bread smell as it opened before she hurried it to a cooling tray. Her wine wasn't expensive but it was still a good vintage -- one of her mom's favorite actually that cost more in the States than it did here.
She headed up to Claude's apartment and knocked on the door. It smelled good even in the hall.
