Jia Xin Kao. His first real assignment with Pervaya. He had done some small jobs - rich girls birthdays and what not, but now Eddie was in the big leagues. She was a unique individual to be sure. For one - she didn’t seem interested in talking or getting to know her protector at all. Eddie also wondered how much she actually did on her own. She seemed to expect him to do more than he had planned to. He did what she asked without a fuss. As long as it didn’t get in the way of his primary goal of protecting her, he was pretty easy going. That was just who he was. The whole situation showed how good Zhenya was at pairing agents to clients. He doubted some of the others would be as easy going.
Eddie was mostly a shadow. He followed in her wake, doing his job and assisting as needed. Finally they found themselves in the Industrial district. Eddie held the door open for her, his eyes assessing: possible hiding places, potential dangers, and most importantly - points of egress.
They approached a man, and Eddie assessed him as much as he assessed Eddie. He didn’t seemed armed, but Eddie noted any places the man could be hiding a weapon. He stood, prepared to move, his eyes keeping himself apprised of the situation. He asked her name. Eddie waited, ready.
