Cali picked herself up from the flowerbed, dusting herself off a little. Her legs were stiff from sitting cross-legged in the cold for so long. She sat herself on the bench beside him, and listened with quiet attentiveness. Most people found her a good listener, and Anton had the curious experience of having come to the Luminar’s attention directly, which gave her more questions than even normal.
