Cadence smiled broadly as she finished her cup of coffee. "I'll make it happen - will for sure be after Christmas though - maybe New Years, but I'll get a couple of people together." she looked again at the spreadsheet. "This decompression time after recording is necessary as well - and must be an alone time. A non-negotiable or I'll be up all night. I have some more questions, but my cup is empty. I'm going to get a refill and a pastry. Would you like something?"
Lore told her what to get and Cadence smiled as she stood and turned to head back towards the counter. She froze for a brief moment in surprise as she saw Ezvin unbuttoning his coat near the entrance of the coffee shop. She moved forward, her steps quick, but not hurried, and approached him.
"Hey you!" she gave him a quick hug. "Good morning! Glad to see you!" Cadence was in an incredible mood this morning, and seeing Ezvin just made it so much better. "I'm here with a friend, but you're certainly welcome to join us if you'd like."
She moved so that Ezvin could come into the shop farther and remove his coat should he desire. The week had gone by in quite a blur. Ezvin was pouring his soul into her album. She could tell by how much attention he had given it. He seemed to want to see her vision become a reality. Cadence couldn't have asked for better. But he had been a little distant. It wasn't a sad sort of distance or an uncomfortable one, but he had been professional. She'd had moments of course where she had looked at him. Their trip to the Nest was still in her mind, and she thought about it often.
Still she wasn't sure where he was in regards to her. Ezvin had told her he wasn't good at long term relationships. She knew that and understood it. She was even okay with it, assuming he didn't lead her on and then leave her in the cold. Cadence didn't think he would. He had been up front about it. Even with her struggles understanding social cues, she felt like that had been on purpose. It still made her a little nervous. She certainly didn't want to make him uncomfortable. "And hey - we need to hang out again. I had so much fun last time!" It had the most fun she had in a long time, and the whole experience had been very eye opening for her.
