Step by step. He wanted everything, so Nox gave him almost everything. He left out Sage's real name, and called him only by The Wicked Truth. And he left out Jared and Emily's name leaving it to friends of the family, though Emily was sorta family, but Cruz was not with Rachel, so it left things a little up in the air. Not that Cruz wouldn't want Rachel protected either way. They were still under his wing as far as Nox was concerned now. They had helped in matters all to well.
Nox with all his love for gab told the Ascendancy in as much gory detail as possible about the night with Oriena and the arm that she busted with the OP. Names were not shared. But Nox spoke almost graphically at the hordes activites more than once before the look on the Ascendancy's face made him finish the tale and move onto the new arm, and the nano bots.
From the nano bots to helping yet another unnamed channeler who came to him for help and how the power twitched and wavered and then was just finally gone. Nox used the brain scans on his wallet to show the Ascendancy the before and afters of the nano bots.
He theorized that the horde was still growing, but the nanobots were clipping it even as he sat there now. Thankfully they hadn't clipped the healing, perhaps the nanobots were smart enough to understand the healed bits needed to stay. Or Sage had programmed them? Or maybe they'd forget later and he'd be fucked. Who knew right now. He hadn't had time to process or even talk to Sage about it.
Nox then told the Ascendancy in detail about linking, and the weave they used. Nox even pulled up the dual weave in his drawing program. "This is an exaggerated weave of course but spirit and fire were used with both sides of the power. It's strange to work with the female half. I've only done it once, surrendering to their power is ungodly difficult after fighting with mine for so long."
And when he was finally done telling the tale, his throat was sore and he needed something to drink. Though he didn't ask. Hospitality was not something Nox expacted from the most powerful man on the planet. Specially when he barely tolerated him.
