Ricky nodded and doused the body of the strygza while Jacob began to dig a spot for the head’s ashes. To actually kill the creature you had to behead it and bury the head and body separately. Burning was just an extra precaution. They’d bury the ashes too. No such thing as overkill when it came to monster. Ricky lit the body on fire and then brought the fuel over for Jacob.
Jacob mentioned rumors, but truth be told, he wasn’t aware of them. His ear hadn’t been to the ground recently. His focus had been Marta, and through her encouragement, he was working again. But the rumors had to be fairly new, and they certainly didn’t surprise him.

Wouldn’t surprise me if there are some Atharim who are a little fearful with him announcing us as a terrorist group.”
