Nox grinned. "We all gotta lotta work to do." Nox leaned over and pressed a kiss to the top of Marta's head and then gave one to Ara and sat up with Lily still pressed to his chest with his good arm. "I'm gonna see about some food."
For the first time in a long time, he wasn't craving anything in particular as his stomach rumbled. He needed to feed his body as much as sleep. Liam was at the side of the bed ready to help him up. Nox could have said something but he didn't, he let Liam fuss over him, he knew it would only make him feel singled out if he said something. And there was no harm in the crush, though they might have to talk about it at some later point. But Liam wanted to help and Nox let him. He still felt exhausted and weak. Healing was great and all, but it laid you out afterwards.
Liam helped him up the two flights of stairs, they appeared to have just missed someone leaving, but they didn't bother looking or even stopping to find out who had vacated the premises. If it was important, Sky would tell him.
Up staris in the living space Hayden did the usual bartender thing with Ricky sitting at the bar. Liam lead Nox to a seat. "Hayden can make you food, you sit down."
"I see how it is." Hayden teased as he started moving through the kitchen like he knew where everything was. Maybe by now he did, he'd been here nearly as long as Nox had, maybe even longer with Nox's stint in the US.
Hayden pulled out a steak from the fridge and Nox laughed. "Let's try something else for a change -- less red meat. No horde to feed." Nox pointed to his head.
Hayden didn't visibly relax but he tucked the steak back into the fridge and pulled out other things. "So back to the usual health diet. Got it." He pulled out way more than for one person -- there was a whole house to feed after all.
