((Just wrapping this up))
Once the job was done, Ryker didn’t give two shits about Nox and his baby-daddy. He acknowledged something regarding tale of a pending surgery to poke at the kid's shoulder, but Ryker only glanced up long enough to lay eyes on the stump, shrug and turn his attention back to a wallet.
Nox and Sage earned a modicum of respect, though. Ryker later learned how the other assassination went, well, technically it was an assassination of an assassin, but who was keeping track? And it was good. Good enough, anyway.
Therefore, prior to going their separate ways, Ryker shared that he would not be flying back with them. “Got another little chore on the honey-do list.” He didn’t elaborate, obviously.
Later, after he completed his packing, he dropped his bag at the front door to say his official goodbyes.
He shook Nox’s hand (the only one he had) and said he’d see him around Moscow. “And if you do, be sure to call me Ryker,” he added with a whim of a smirk and his real accent. Nox could decide whether or not Ryker was his real name, but it was a gesture either way.
Once gone, he caught the train back to DC.
