It was time!
Kia handed Finn three speciality bullets. "Remember, don't leave any behind. No one can find em."
Finn glared at his brother. "This is not my first rodeo."
Kia nodded. "I know, I know. But this one is different."
The two brothers left their apartment on schedule. They had a timetable to keep. The president and the vice president were never in the same place at the same time for very long. At least not when there were dangerous things about. Or big possible attacks -- they had to plan carefully. They had been watching them for months. And now was the time to implement their plan.
Finn headed to north of the White house where he would take out the Vice President. And Kia was situated outside a school the president was going to be reading at. It was not the perfect place, but it was the timing that matter. Two bullets, one time. It had to be perfect.
There was a plan in all this. they didn't know what it was. Or even cared. They were getting paid big bucks for this job and it was well worth the risk.
Finn climbed the stairs to the building where they had stashed the peices of the gun to be used. They didn't need to get caught with a rifle going into a public place. It wasn't a hard assembly and Finn had practice many times putting it together.
Finn's location was a top floor apartment that had been let by someone who was not in town. They'd found it by accident and it was the perfect place to take his shot. And it had nothing at all to do with them. It was perfect.
The gun was loaded with Kai's special bullet and he was ready to take his shot. He took a deep breath, aimed and waited for his mark to show up.
Kai's location was a new construction. Which didn't happen often but it was easy access and he'd been coming and going for the past few months. He wasn't out of the ordinary as he collected his gun pieces and made his way to the top of the building.
It was time. Kai set up his shot and waited for the precise moment. Timing was essential, but all plans went to hell the moment things got real. Kai could only hope this one went smoothly. It was imperative it did.
At precisely, 12:34PM two shots rang out across the world.
