Ilesha's new job was going wonderful. The app had proven to be a great thing. And she had managed to bring over the things most important to her which included her motorbike she was working on. It was still in bits and pieces and her mother and father had been sad to let the piece go. It meant Ilesha wasn't coming home anytime soon.
It was hard being away from family in a strange city where she knew no one. But she did know someone. Claire had introduced her to a place where others were like her. Ilesha had been avoiding the whole place because of what it represented. It wasn't that she was a prude but sex was something to be shared with someone, not put on display.
Wearing the little red dress she'd worn the last time she'd gone to Kallisti Ilesha walked into the burlesque club and hoped to find some of her sisters there. But she was greeted to the onslaught of a woman in next to nothing serenading another woman, the scene unfolding made Ilesha blush as she made her way to the bar to order a simple vodka and coke. Ilesha kept her eyes on the drink in front of her avoiding the scenes playing out on the stage. The whole situation made her uncomfortable, but she had to find others like her and others who understood. Oriena had understood that familiarity but she didn't see Claire nor the owner anywhere.
