You mean for my silly northern phrases? Haha my best friend here is from Yorkshire and she grew up living with her grandparents. Cain's grandparents are strongly influenced by them, although admittedly I've never been to tees valley. It's just one of the poorest places in the EU and I wanted Cain to be northern. Yeah even though I've lived here for a while British dialogue is kind of clunky. Either you go full northern and write it phonetically or you go my route, which is to basically write him American and throw in a little bit of vernacular when I can find a spot to show he's still English haha.
Actually I'm doing a good bit of travel around the UK over the next month. If you're comfortable with it, I might be around your locale at some point if you'd like to meet for a pint No pressure though I know some people don't want to mix their virtual and non-virtual worlds.
