He shot over a nod, thinking Jared's idea sounded about damn perfect right then. Shredder wasn't interested in sleeping though. The weight in Jay's limbs did its best to make him ignore the kitten pouncing and sprinting across the floor. Eventually he woke in the middle of the night with the kitten curled on his throat, pressed up under his chin. Which explained why he couldn't breathe. Still, it was about the best sleep of his life.
