A job [Paragon Group] - Sage - 02-01-2026 It has been months since he'd stumbled upon the doors of Paragon. Since he tried to find information on Raffe inside the walls. He'd met their primary IT security both in person and in the super information highways. The kid was good, if a little slow and highly distracted. It didn't take much to push him somewhere and keep him busy while he did other things. But now he was here, sitting in a room waiting for his first day. The snow was coming down, but he'd made it into the glass building. Aiden had asked him why? and Sage just shrugged. "I can't live off your good graces for all eternity." Which he wasn't but Aiden didn't need to know all his little secrets. Though he kept nothing from the man he loved -- he just didn't share all the details. RE: A job [Paragon Group] - Lyra - 02-04-2026 Lyra had her head in her tablet. She was working on two problems at once -- how to find channelers before they become a danger -- and how to find a channeler in general. It was for her own personal work -- and for Paragon. They had coincided. There had to be a genetic means of doing so and she was looking at all avenues.. A news article popped up on her feed -- it spoke about channeling in a way that meant something was hunting them. It made her bump into the table of a young man sitting down reading his own tablet. "Pardon me." "No worries. That sounds like an Ijiraq." He said as he he saw what she was looking at. "Sorry, what was that." "That article. It sounds like an Ijiraq -- a mystical creature." She was still very confused about how he knew but even more so about how he knew what the creature was called. "What do you know about the creature?" RE: A job [Paragon Group] - Sage - 02-12-2026 Sage shrugged. "Not much. I know they drain power from the channeler and they can possess them sometimes." Lyra sat down. Sage didn't seem to mind. He hadn't offered. "So they can find a channeler?" "I guess. They can feel channeling I think. They then kinda stalk you. And they can be sicked on a person. There is this tablet that controls them." Lyra put her hands on her fist and nodded. "Really? Can you tell me more?" Sage nodded and took a dip into the internet and started downloading what the Atharim had on the Ijira. "Give me a moment while I look it up." |
