- Thalia - 07-28-2016 Wouldn't have thought it's close enough to Scotland to have any influence, but I've never been that way either so I'm hardly an authority The accent in Newcastle v Yorkshire is definitely distinct though. - Cain Belasis - 07-28-2016 Yeah truth is that I was going to say between Newcastle and York but I'm not nearly as fond of the Newcastle accent so I just buried my head in the sand a bit - Thalia - 07-28-2016 Ah well, stuff the geography; pretty sure our characters can sound however we like - Nox - 07-28-2016 here here... it is the future after all. - Dane Gregory - 07-28-2016 Nox - do you feel the urge to have a conversation on the intricate comparisons of southern -creole-French-Texan-Hispanic accents now? I've become so accustom to the southern speak that I hardly notice the difference unless they are cajun and I can't understand a damn word they said at all. - Cain Belasis - 07-28-2016 Lol I grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta so if you want to talk about southern accents I'm game |
